Surface and colour are developed through natural dye, fibre behaviour and sustained material experimentation. Working with plant-based processes and slow colour systems, McArthur explores how chromatic shifts emerge through seasonality, place and material interaction.

Samples, fragments and surface studies function as both material research and sculptural investigation.
